Design Rationale
The planting for Welwyn Garden City wanted to be modern but not too minimalist. It’s more structured around the entertaining area near to the house and then moves into more loose and informal perennial planting with grasses and some structure around the lawn for a relaxed and delicate feel. Around the studio the planting is Asian inspired with grasses, bamboos and architectural forms.
